I would like to update you on our status in light of recent announcements in the state of Illinois. As you likely have heard, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker issued an executive order in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In this order, he has asked all citizens of the state to shelter in place. As part of this order, the governor also has made distinctions regarding essential businesses which are encouraged to stay open and operational to the safest extent possible.
IT Hardware Plus is headquartered in Elgin, IL. Within these guidelines set forth by the governor, specifically under section 12 N, we find it necessary and meaningful to continue operations so that we can effectively support our customers who have employees working from home, or other company requirements in order to stay open and serve customers.
With the utmost safety in mind and in practice for our workforce, IT Hardware Plus remains truly committed to our customers during this time of crisis. Please know we are here as a resource and partner for you during these unprecedented times. We have received numerous requests for laptops to enable employees to work remotely from home. While most inventories of new laptops are completely depleted, we nevertheless have a source for quality, affordable pre-owned laptops, along with separate monitors. If you need laptops, please contact us. We will be available M – F 9AM to 4 PM.
